Mark Wahlberg’s Pete Rose movie needs these Hollywood stars

Mark Wahlberg is working on a Pete Rose movie. "We're talking about doing Pete Rose, right now," Wahlberg said during his April 8 appearance on the "Throwbacks" podcast, hosted by Matt Leinart and Jerry Ferrara.
He explained the movie would follow Rose when he's older and returns to the Cincinnati Reds as a player/manager. Rose was a player/manager from 1984-1986 and continued as the team's manager after retiring from playing through 1989.
"We've been actively developing (that movie) right now and speaking to filmmakers, so we've got a script," Wahlberg said. The Enquirer wanted to figure out which Hollywood stars would be great for the movie.
We took two strategies: We asked the people of downtown Cincinnati, and we put together a dream cast ouselves. See what random people on the street had to say in the video at the top of the page, and check out our cast in the gallery above.
