Taiwan Semi (TSM) Q1 2026 earnings results beat net income and revenue expectations
Taiwan Semi reported its Q1 2026 earnings in the late hours of April 15, 2026. The company posted $1.134 trillion New Taiwan dollars in revenue, which translates to USD$35 billion, against a NT$1.127 trillion expectation. The company reported a net income of NT$572.48 billion vs an expectation of NT$543.32 billion.
“Our business in the first quarter was supported by strong demand for our leading-edge process technologies,” said Wendell Huang, Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer of TSMC. “Moving into second quarter 2026, we expect our business to be supported by continued strong demand for our leading-edge process technologies.” Despite beating on both fronts, Taiwan Semi stock was down following the release of the report. The stock was valued as low as $365.39 after closing the previous day at $376.95.
